It had been FAR too long since I'd picked up a Kristen Ashley book when I snatched up the chance at this ARC!

I'm a sucker for a "bad boy" (you will likely see this through my reviews) and this author loves to turn out bad boy romance!



I actually did not read the first Chaos book before this one because I had a limited amount of time to access the ARC, but it works as a stand alone.



I'll warn you her stories DO cross over and you will see characters from her other books in this one. And not just from this series but from her other series as well. I didn't mind the slight spoilers because one thing I know about  this author is that she gives us Happily Ever After. Seeing characters from her other books being happy and together (because their story has already been told) isn't really that much of a spoiler if you get right down to it!



Ok so my thoughts on this one...



I always find myself initially balking at the behavior of the leading men in Kristen Ashley books.  

EVERY TIME I wonder how in the world she's going to make me even LIKE the latest bossy, controlling, possessive, foul-mouthed, pushy (you see where I'm going here?) man.

And you know what...she never fails to impress me with how she ends up redeeming them in some way.

Not that I still didn't want to strangle the one in this one (Hop) half the time. I definitely did. But I also found myself digitally dog-earing and highlighting the crap out of this book because of all the swoony things he said and did for Lanie.

He is pretty much the definition of hard on the outside and soft on the inside. 



I could share a bunch of my favorite quotes but they are soooo much better in context and delivered by Mr. Kincaid in that hard/soft way a Kristen Ashley man does! So my advice is just to read this book and experience it for yourself.
